Mr. Barry Clarke
Barry Clarke is a qualified accountant with many years experience in commerce, financial services, and the eye health industry. He has held CEO and board positions with a number of successful companies in Australia. Barry is currently a director of the Royal Society for the Blind of SA Inc, and the Macular Degeneration Foundation Pty Ltd. He has a very keen personal interest in the provision of better eye care services. In 1994, Barry established his own financial services company and developed it into a successful national operation. He maintains a strong interest in developing profitable investment opportunities.
Director
Mr. Andrew Bollen, PhD (ANU), B.Sc (Adelaide)
Andrew Bollen is an Investment Manager with Playford Capital. He has previously worked in high tech R & D, start-up management, investment banking, portfolio management and venture investing in Australia, the US and Asia. He has played a key role in raising substantial funds for start-ups, serving on their boards, helping to manage their growth, and structuring and negotiating public and private transactions.

Mrs. Allison Hayes
Manager, Training & Research
Allison Hayes gained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Graduate Diploma in Orientation and Mobility. She has over 20 years experience in the area of Acquired Brain Injury and Neurological Vision Impairment rehabilitation. In addition to her roles of an Executive Director and part of the management team of NVT Allison has responsibilities in the areas of clinical skills, training and research. She is primarily responsible for marketing in Australia, UK and Europe.
Ms. Gayle Clarke
Chief Marketing Officer
Gayle Clarke studied at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Graduate Studies for a Master’s of Science in Vision Rehabilitation (pending). She also has a Graduate Diploma in Management and a Diploma in Orientation & Mobility. Gayle has over 25 years experience in the area of vision rehabilitation, specializing in Low Vision and Neurological Vision Impairment. She has undertaken university lecturing at Graduate and Masters level, developed staff training courses, co-ordinated international conferences, and is a committee member of the International Mobility Committee. In addition to her roles of an Executive Director and part of the management team of NVT Gayle is primarily responsible for marketing in North America. She also has responsibilities in the areas of clinical skills and training.
General Manager
Mr. Peter Larner
Peter Larner was appointed as General Manager in 2009, after being engaged as a consultant to assist with business operations, marketing and business development and finance.
His career has been spent in senior management positions in both large and small businesses operating nationally and internationally, and has encompassed roles in sales and marketing, manufacturing, operations, general management and Chief Executive. He has qualifications in science and business from UniSA.
He is experienced in sales, distribution, international and domestic manufacturing, and the establishment of offshore operations. He has also been actively involved in mergers, acquisitions and divestment, and preparation for IPO.
Peter currently owns a successful small business in the health and safety field, and has over the past seven years provided interim management, business consulting and strategy advice and projects for a number of clients.
