  • Aug 2008 AER International Conference, Chicago, IL. 1400 people attended the AER conference from major private rehabilitation agencies (eg AFB, Lighthouse), private vision rehab specialists, government/state funded agencies, university preparation programs. NVT conducted one presentation, and was represented on TBI discussion panel. Royal Society for the Blind, Adelaide & VA Palo Alto are presenting on the use of the NVT Rehabilitation System and client assessment and training.

  • Aug 2008 63rd Blinded Veterans Convention, Phoenix, AZ. NVT had a strong presence at the BVA conference and consolidate and pursue existing contacts in the Veterans arena. This convention coincided with a conference of all Blind Rehabilitation staff in all US regions. Attendees were from Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, Chicago, Tucson, Palo Alto, Connecticut, Washington DC etc.

  • Jul 2008 9th International Low Vision Conference, was held in Montreal, Canada. 1800 people attended including private and public optometrists private rehabilitation specialist and blindness agencies and related rehabilitation professionals. NVT conducted two presentations and also was represented on a panel on TBI. Other presenters included VA Palo Alto & Royal Society for the Blind, Adelaide & Visibility, Glasgow are all presenting on establishing services and using the NVT Vision Rehabilitation System.
